The first month of 2015 is almost over and the vision board is written up. It has been exciting to look back at last year’s vision board and see that it has largely happened – well there are a few carry overs but they are in hand.
I absolutely love business diagnostic work. After all of these years I don’t really need to rely on tools but I really like the Human Synergistics tools as they provide a visual impression of what is happening for clients at the present moment. I plan to keep doing this work as long as I can and am loving the opportunities I have in store for me this year. It is especially good when you have the opportunity to work with those who are open to change and I am meeting some super people.
I really enjoyed working with The Smith Family before Christmas as well. Meeting the lovely young people who are selflessly putting themselves out to assist others is always inspiring.
I have a video clip coming up in which I explain that my passion from way back in my childhood has always been to help the world become a happier place. When I was young I used to think maybe I could have a magic wand to do that, but alas, there is no magic wand and I must make do with the small footprints of consciousness that I am now able to make. It’s so great to be in this stage of my life – free (or almost) of the self consciousness which inhibited me so much in previous years. Free to be totally authentic with the only agenda to be of service in the best way possible.
Beside my corporate work, speaking and writing are going to be a real focus. I am always touched when several years after my book came out, I am still receiving thanks from people who tell me that it has helped them. Lovely to know that it is still relevant.
Ande and I will continue to haunt the speaking circuit, but this year we have new passion and energy – especially now that Ande is more mobile. We intend to launch our book “Listen to your heart – three signposts to a happy ending” at the Women’s Health and Wellbeing expo in May. The preface expresses our purpose – “”We have been in this galaxy for almost 150 years! We have lived on different continents, in countries, states, cities and lots of suburbs. … We have triumphed, overcome and vanquished fear, doubt and uncertainties again and again, and again. We value lessons learnt. We have been knocked down and we have got up, and we have soared! We can’t stop you falling now and again, but we can share tips and tools to help lessen the pain and get you up quicker, so you can fly. There’s no magic fix, we aren’t offering you Santa, that bunny, or the fairy. Just the love, affection and kick in the butt you might get from a granny who wants the best for you.” You’ll get to read some good stories. We don’t hold back!
There are other happenings on the horizon that I look forward to sharing with you. There are many things happening in the world that make us sad and engender fear, but I believe if we can all pull together and work on being the best that we can be, we will make more of a difference than we can ever know.
